The benchmark report is the first step of the Harmony project. It was developed by all the project partners.
This document takes stock of the use of restorative justice in conflicts on a European and international scale and aims to provide the most recent knowledge regarding the use of restorative practices as a vector for managing and resolving neighborhood conflicts.
He participates in the process of identifying “good practices” and “promising practices” in this area and extrapolating knowledge for the next stages of the Harmony project. In particular, the benchmark report foreshadows the stage of development and testing of the toolbox tested by practitioners in the field.
Furthermore, the report contributes to informing the public – citizens, professionals and public decision-makers – about the potential of using restorative practices as a main and/or complementary vector to current methods of resolving neighborhood conflicts.
The report is currently downloadable in English which is the official language of the Erasmus+ Harmony project and will soon be made available in the four project languages (English, French, Italian and Dutch).
